Red Bird Mission Craft Fair-Saturday Oct. 6th Only

Outreach will be sponsoring the Red Bird Mission Craft Fair at Epworth UMC on Saturday, October 6th from 9 AM to 5 PM (or from 9 AM to 2 PM if it rains).  This will coordinate with the Fall Festival on Saturday.

Many of you may remember craft fairs from earlier years.  The crafts are made in Appalachia and sales of the items provide income to the Red Bird Mission.  The fair is a great place to buy unique Christmas gifts for family and friends.   The mission, now a part of the United Methodist Church, was founded in 1921 in the southeastern corner of Kentucky.  It was originally founded to provide evangelical ministries to residents of the area. Over the years the mission has expanded to provide educational opportunities, medical care, and even building homes.
