This Sunday is Peace with Justice Sunday

One of six church-wide Special Sunday offerings in The United Methodist Church is Peace with Justice. This offering helps individuals and local congregations do more than we could do individually by supporting the peace efforts of the United Methodist Church as a whole as well as their local conference. Your gifts on Peace with Justice Sunday enable The United Methodist Church to have a voice in advocating for peace and justice through a broad spectrum of global programs. If you wish to support our peace with justice ministries, you may give a special offering this Sunday by placing money in an envelope or write a check to Epworth and designate it “Peace with Justice.”

A Big Thank You!!

United Methodist Women, with the help of the Epworth Church community, served the evening meal to 175 people last Sunday at Urban Ministries. Many thanks to the 47 people who made chicken casseroles, prepared French bread, donated peaches, salad, dressing and cookies. We greatly appreciate the congregation’s help with this mission.
